The Bergeralm in Steinach is a small, yet fine skiing region with modern lift systems, which allow you to experience the action on the slopes without having to wait too long.
28 km of perfectly groomed runs extend across an altitude from 1000 to 2200 m, catering for all levels of abilities The manageable range of slopes in combination with the unique Wipp Valley panorama imparts the winter visitors with extraordinary enjoyment. The slopes have been awarded the Tyrolean "Piste Quality Seal" and offer ideal terrain for those just starting out through to more ambitious racers.
The panorama restaurant, which can be found next to the intermediate station of the gondola lift, entices you in for a refreshing break. The ideal location of the Bärenfalle, which is well above the intermediate station, is perfect for an enjoyable stop-over. If you prefer things a little more rustic, you can stop off at the "Alten Bergeralm" hut directly beneath the intermediate station.
Those wanting to turn night into day can do so every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. Experience the ultimate night ride over three sections - covering 9 km in length, across 4 different runs. The Bergeralm is one of the largest night skiing arenas in Europe with a top level lighting system.
