Landscape diversity, fresh mountain air and a well-signed mountain bike path network in the holiday region of Wipptal makes cycling enjoyable. There is something for everyone, from the comfortable round trip of the alpine lodges in the Navis Valley to demanding single trails such as the Misljoch near Pfons. Action lovers will find their adrenaline rush with the downhill courses in Steinach am Brenner.

A feature of the region is the wide-branching mountain biking network that has a total of 17 routes (approx. 150 km). Do not forget to stop off at one of the many mountain restaurants, huts or alpine lodges for a refreshment and to enjoy regional delicacies. For those who do not want to use up all of their energy while biking, there is an electric bike rental in Navistal. Therefore no mountain is too steep!

Additionally, the Munich-Venice Trans-alpine Biking Trail connects three countries: Germany, Austria, and Italy. The “Schatzkiste Tirol” tour section goes through the holiday region of Wipptal and over the border into Italy.

The Ötztal Cycle Marathon and many other biking events go through the Wipptal region and its side valleys.

For those who do not want to bring their bicycle or mountain bike, you can also rent one here. There are many bike rental stations and service firms in the region.
