A new, exciting activity has shaken up the classic winter sports range on offer in the Wipp Valley. Snowkiting or kite skiing is a young fun sport, where you can fly across the snow with skis or snowboard and a kite.

All you need for this is a free area in the valley or on the mountain and a little wind. The area around the commune of Gries am Brenner in Tyrol offers unique conditions for snowkiting thanks to the high guarantee of wind and snow. The B2K (Born to Kite) snowkite school in Tyrol now offers taster courses from € 29.00 where all those interested in this fascinating sport can try it out in a playful and risk-free manner.

Beginners and advanced courses can also be booked for all sporting activities on a foundation basis or with prior knowledge. The meeting point for the beginner’s course is the Hotel Humlerhof in Nösslach.

The advanced course takes place in cooperation with the Gries am Brenner ski club on the Nösslachjoch. All courses are carried out exclusively by experienced snowkite coaches.
