From Innsbruck, the Wipptal region and its side valleys can be reached in approx. 10 to 20 minutes using the A13 Brenner motorway or the Brenner road.

Take the Matrei exit if you would like to go to places in the lower Wipptal such as Matrei, Mühlbachl, Pfons, the Navis Valley, Steinach, the Gschnitz Valley, St. Jodok, the Vals or Schmirn Valleys. Take the next Nösslach exit, if you would like to go to the upper Wipptal such as to Gries or Obernberg. You can also use the toll-free Brenner road as an alternative.

The Brenner motorway is a toll road. All motorways in Austria require a vignette. The toll sticker (Vignette) can be purchased at border crossings, petrol stations and from your motoring association.
