The Wipptal holiday region was a GEO TOP 10 travel destination 2017! Experience the picturesque scenery of Tyrol in the Wipptal with its beautiful valleys and mountaineering villages while skiing, ski touringwinter hiking, snowshoe hiking, cross-country skiing, sledging or just enjoying Tyrolian cuisine at one of the numerous mountain huts and alpine lodges. Have a look at the wonderful mountain panorama and let your spirit unwind in the infinity of nature and unspoiled landscape. Since 2019 there are now two mountaineering villages which focus on sustainable tourism: St. Jodok, Schmirn and Vals and the Gschnitztal.

Guestcard = ticket for public transport

The guest card is your ticket for public transport in the Wipptal holiday region all year round. This includes the suburban trains Innsbruck - Brenner (S3/S4) and all bus lines (4145, 4141, 4144, 4146, 4143 and 8365) into the mountain valleys as well as the journey from Innsbruck or Brenner (get an arrival voucher from your accomodation).
