Since 2019 there are now two mountaineering villages which focus on sustainable tourism: St. Jodok, Schmirn and Vals and the Gschnitztal.
Guestcard = ticket for public transport
The guest card is your ticket for public transport in the Wipptal holiday region all year round. This includes the suburban trains Innsbruck - Brenner (S3/S4) and all bus lines (4145, 4141, 4144, 4146, 4143 and 8365) into the mountain valleys as well as the journey from Innsbruck or Brenner (get an arrival voucher from your accomodation).
