Small but fine
30 km of perfectly groomed slopes extend across an altitude from 1,000 to 2,200 m, catering for all levels of abilities. The manageable range of slopes, combined with the unique scenery of the Wipptal region, instils an extraordinary sense of pleasure to winter guests. The slopes are distinguished with the Tyrolean “Piste Quality Seal” and provide the ideal terrain for beginners through to ambitious racers.
Culinary delights shouldn’t be missed
The panoramic restaurant at the mid-station or the "Bärenfalle" above the mid-station entice you in to enjoy a delightful refreshment break. Those preferring all things quaint and rustic can stop off at the "Alten Bergeralm" (typical mountain hut) directly below the mid-station.
Our plus: Night Skiing
Night is turned into day every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. Experience the ultimate night ride within 3 sections - with more than 9 km in length and 4 different descents. With competition-approved lighting, the Bergeralm is one of the largest night skiing arenas in Europe.
Children’s ski area
Children will especially enjoy the Bergeralm, since Noah the mascot will accompany them from the very first rounds. A free children's course will run for the first time this year for those kids born in 2013 and 2014. The little ones can relax in the supervised play corner at the panoramic restaurant when their legs start to get tired.
Ideal for beginners
We also recommend beginners and younger children trying the T-bar lifts in Vals, Navis and Obernberg with leisurely downhill slopes, and the two gentle descents in Trins. There is a paradise in Trins, adjacent to the ski area, for kids with space to play and romp around while mom and dad enjoy a cup of coffee on the sunny terrace of the Liftstüberl restaurant.
The Bergeralm Ski & Leisure Arena offers pleasurable skiing experiences on high quality slopes, which will make the heart of every ski fan beat faster. NEW: the combined chairlift-gondola "Hoher Turm" which goes from the intermediate station to the top of the mountain. The Trins ski lift on the other side is a perfect place for families and beginners.
The family meeting point for fun on the slopes, day & night!
Opening Times: December - February from 10.00 - 16.00
The Trins ski lift family meeting point offers everything! There is, for example, at this modern ski complex, evening skiing on the floodlit slope, every Friday between 6pm and 8.30pm. Snow-making facilities ensure the best of conditions.
Children have it good: a huge playground with a sliding hill and a well-maintained ice skating rink is located directly next to the lift. In addition, there is a children’s playhouse that gives toddlers and young children the chance to warm up and play awhile. This children’s playhouse can be found at Liftstüberl (with a sun-terrace for the grown-ups), that, by request, also offers a lunch time meal as well as childcare. Furthermore, with two ski and snowboard schools, child ski courses and a ski kindergarten are available.
A well-groomed toboggan run, 16-km cross-country ski run and winter hiking trails lend added variety to your “all-white day”. Trins also proposes pure winter fun for young and old alike, by day or night!
