iCal calendar synchronization

This is a free technical option for micro-landlords to connect the calendars of the Feratel, AirBnB and Booking.com platforms. This automatically blocks availability on all platforms when an online booking is made in the calendar. However, care must be taken with manually entered bookings, as these are not transferred.

Prerequisites

  • You have an entry on Booking.com and/or Airbnb and Feratel (TVB Wipptal)
  • You are a micro landlord and only have 1 room or 1 apartment per category. Also possible: if, for example, you have 1 apartment "Waldbeere" and 1 apartment "Himbeere" and this is also created separately in the platforms (Feratel, Airbnb, Booking.com). It is not possible from 2 double rooms or 2 vacation apartments of the same category!

How does it work with the connection in Feratel?

  1. Activation of the function on Feratel via the TVB (please contact us)
  2. Export of the Feratel connection link from the WebClient (generate & copy link)
  3. Enter Airbnb or Booking.com (or both) and insert (import) the Feratel link
  4. In the same place, export the connection link from Airbnb or Booking.com (generate & copy link)
  5. Insert Airbnb and/or Booking.com links in the Feratel web client
  6. Activate everything in the calendar for the future, then click on synchronize and check whether the bookings have been transferred
  7. It is best to use a calendar (e.g. Booking.com) as your main calendar from now on

Availability is updated every 3 hours, but this only works with online bookings. Please always block manually entered bookings on all portals.
