Wipp Traverse—A 5-Day Hike Through the Wipptal Valley

Five days, diverse mountain scenery, and yet just a light daypack: The Wipp Traverse leads from the Stubai Valley straight across the Wipp Valley to the Brenner Pass. Thanks to a base hotel, public transportation, and the option to plan your own rest day, it combines long-distance hiking with a relaxing vacation in the mountains. Self-guided hikes are possible year-round.

Climbing, Via Ferrata & Dry Tooling—On the Rock All Year Round

The sunny Stafflacher Wand in the mountaineering village of St. Jodok serves as a climbing area, training ground, and training center all in one. With more than 140 routes, multi-pitch climbs, climbing courses, and its own dry-tooling area, it offers opportunities ranging from beginner-level climbing to challenging training. And it’s just a few minutes’ walk from the train station.
