MICE strategy Wipptal - Together for a sustainable future

The MICE strategy for the Wipptal was developed in a joint, participatory process with our regional partners. The aim was to strengthen the potential of the Wipptal Valley as a sustainable and meaningful destination for meetings, incentives, conventions and events, to define our positioning and to make unique selling points visible.
The strategy is based on the principles of the 3 Cs: communication, cooperation and competence. It aims to expand the core tourism business, promote year-round value creation and at the same time make a positive contribution to the local economy and community.

Key message of the strategy:

• Authenticity and regional ties: Events should reflect the region's culture and take natural areas and the local population into account when planning them.
• Cooperation and networking: close cooperation with regional companies and partners creates a strong MICE network.
• Quality and a sense of purpose: MICE events in the Wipptal should not only bring economic benefits, but also create long-term, valuable experiences.
