The Genussspechte Wipptal is a regional initiative of dedicated producers, restaurateurs, cultural professionals, and businesses from the Wipptal valley in Tyrol. Their shared goal is to strengthen collaboration within the region, raise the profile of regional products, and boost economic value creation in the valley. Through close collaboration between agriculture, gastronomy, retail, art, and culture, the Genussspechte promote authentic regional identity in the Wipptal. The focus is on high-quality food, short supply chains, personal interaction, and the conscious use of products from the region.

I am proud to be able to say how great, creative and sustainable our region is. By founding the Genussspechte in 2016, we sent out a clear signal to the catering, hotel and cultural sectors: regionality must be promoted, regardless of the sector. The diversity and creativity of each individual creates a platform for cooperation between different producers from the Wipptal Valley. The aim of our woodpeckers is to increase added value through the positioning of regional products. Through the cooperation of producers (farmers, craftsmen, etc.) a common platform is created. The regional marketing of products and services leads to stronger networking with the catering and hotel industry. This means that regional products and services are accessible to more people and the Genussspechte Wipptal brand is the brand for regional quality.
