Our experts:

Retreat character:

Training retreat for trail running beginners: May at the JUFA Hotel Steinach is all about the basics, training and having fun running off-road.
Alpine Performance Retreat: In July and October we are guests at Almi`s Berghotel in Obernberg with the Alpine Perfomance Retreats. From here, we walk the Valley of Tranquillity and parts of the historic "Tiroler Höhenweg" trail on the border ridge with Italy.
In September, we will return to the JUFA Hotel in Wipptal and discover the more alpine trails above the Gschnitztal valley from here.
Thefollowing applies to both retreats: the focus is on having fun running! All additional activities such as physiotherapy, nutrition, product testing and yoga are included, but are not compulsory.

Prerequisites:

Our training retreat is suitable for beginners to slightly advanced runners or those returning to running.

For the three Alpine Performance Retreats you need:

  • Fitness level: you run at least 3 times a week, including a long endurance run (target time: road half marathon approx. 2-2.5 hours)
  • Off-road technique: you can run safely over rocks, roots and loose ground on moderately steep terrain
  • Experience with poles: you already have experience running with poles
