The two Tyrolean mountain hiking guides Theresa and Andreas are very closely connected to the Wipptal and will take you on a "safari" along the main Alpine ridge. They will select 5 tours that are ideally suited to the current snow conditions and weather forecasts. You can borrow snowshoes and winter hiking poles free of charge.
At Almi's Berghotel, your "base camp", you can expect high-quality food for an all-round enjoyable experience. Junior chef Thomas will present you with the cheeses produced with passion on his Steiner Alm for you to taste together.
Tip for those traveling together with a focus on different winter sports: The snowshoe hiking safari can be ideally combined with the ski touring week for connoisseurs.

The program at a glance
Day 1: Arrival
Arrival by train (Innsbruck is perfectly accessible by long-distance trains. From there or from Brenner free S-Bahn and bus connections with the guest card) or by car to Obernberg. In the evening, welcome by Theresa and Andreas and dinner together.
Day 2 - 6: Snowshoe tours with enjoyment in a wintry mountain world
Depending on the quality of the snow, the adventurous snowshoe stages will start directly from the front door or in a neighboring valley. The hotel's own minibus is available for trips to the neighboring valleys, making mobility easier.
The tours include ascents of between 200 and 700 meters in altitude and wonderful, technically manageable ascents and descents. Theresa and Andreas will plan the perfect snowshoe tour for you every day.
After the last snowshoe tour, you can extend your stay individually or travel home.

Cancellation conditions:
up to 60 days before arrival: 25% cancellation fee
up to 30 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee
up to 14 days before arrival: 75% cancellation fee
from 13 days before arrival: 100% cancellation fee
