Almi's Winter Mix 2027

Mountains, Culture, and Well-being

A winter week for everyone who loves the mountains—but wants to plan a vacation that’s both varied and relaxing. Not about pushing yourself to the limit every day, but about enjoying physical activity, taking time to marvel, immerse yourself, and breathe deeply.
Almi’s Winter Mix combines gentle activity in the winter mountain landscape with Tyrolean culture, regional delights, and soothing relaxation. Guided, personalized, and with plenty of room for individual preferences.

At Almi's Berghotel, your "base camp", you can expect high-quality food for an all-round enjoyable experience. Junior chef Thomas will present the cheeses produced with passion on his Steiner Alm for you to taste together.

Days 2–6: What to expect this week:

Gentle Alpine Hikes
On the best weather day of the week, you’ll be out and about with state-certified mountain or hiking guides. Depending on your mood, you can choose between:

  • an easy ski tour through the snow-covered mountains or
  • a delightful snowshoe hike through quiet winter landscapes.

The focus is on experiencing nature, safety, and taking time to enjoy yourself—not on achieving peak athletic performance.

Relaxation+
This wellness day is organized by therapeutic massage therapist Laurin—the nephew of host Seppi and a member of the Almberger family. One soothing massageper person is included. Gentle Qi Gong sessions with Stefan, the inn’s hiking guide, round out the day.
You’ll also enjoy an exclusive, extended sauna day with lovingly crafted infusions of natural scents—for relaxation, family warmth, and renewed energy for body and soul.

Relaxed Fun on the Slopes
Another day dedicated to classic winter fun: skiing on the perfectly groomed slopes of our Bergeralm in Steinach, or alternatively:sledding, winter hiking, or ice skating – whatever suits your taste. You decide how active you want your day to be.

Experience Tyrolean Culture
A guided cultural day takes you to one of the region’scharmingtowns: Innsbruck, Sterzing, Brixen, or Meran. Amid historic alleyways, cozy cafés, and fascinating stories, you’ll immerse yourself in the culture and way of life of the Tyrolean Alps—a relaxed and inspiring experience.
The group decides together which of these historic places to visit—in a relaxed atmosphere right here at the Almis Berghotel.

Winter Nature & Delights
A special highlight is the leisurely winter hike with our nature lover Stefan through the idyllic Obernberg Valley, with its glacial gravel hills and Tyrol’s largest larch forest.
The experience is rounded off with an exclusive cheese tasting with our son Thomas—a passionate, multi-award-winning dairyman at the Steineralm. You’ll learn how alpine nature, farm work, and traditional craftsmanship come together—and how that tastes.
Regional, authentic, and explained with a lot of heart.

Following the final activity, you’ll either extend your stay or begin your journey home.
