For everyone who loves mountain sports and wants to experience the winter landscape of the Wipptal in all its alpine splendor.
Experience five unforgettable snowshoe tours in the stunning mountains surrounding the Wipptal, led by an experienced guide who knows the region like the back of his hand. The tours are physically demanding and take you through moderately steep alpine terrain with ascents ranging from 500 to 900 meters in elevation. Hiking times range from 4 to 6 hours—ideal for anyone looking to put their winter fitness to the test and enjoy the tranquility of the snow-covered mountains.
On two special days, an IVBV-certified mountain guidewill accompany you on summit tours where you can experience the breathtaking views of the Brenner Mountains up close. Enjoy the unique feeling of climbing the white peaks and experiencing the silence of the winter landscape, while experienced professionals ensure your safety and an unforgettable experience.
At Almi’s Berghotel, your “base camp,” you can look forward to high-quality meals for an all-around delightful experience. Junior manager Thomas will introduce you to the cheeses he passionately produces at his Steiner Alm for everyone to taste together.

The program at a glance
Day 1: Arrival in
Travel by train (Innsbruck is easily accessible by long-distance trains. From there, or from Brenner, the Wipptal Card provides free access to local trains and buses) or by car to Obernberg. In the evening, a welcome from Theresa and Andreas, followed by dinner together.
Days 2–6: Enjoyable snowshoe hikes in the winter mountain landscape
Depending on snow conditions, these exciting snowshoe hikes will start right from the hotel or in a neighboring valley. The hotel’s own minibus is available for trips to neighboring valleys, making it easy to get around.
The tours include ascents ranging from 500 to 900 meters in elevation and magnificent ascents and descents through alpine terrain. Theresa and Andreas, along with your mountain guide, will plan the optimal snowshoe tour for you each day.
Following the final snowshoe tour, you can choose to extend your stay or begin your journey home.

Approx. 4 weeks before arrival you will receive the detailed information about the snowshoe hiking safari with meeting point, program and packing list as well as the invoice.
Cancellation conditions:
up to 60 days before arrival: 25% cancellation fee
up to 30 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee
up to 14 days before arrival: 75% cancellation fee
