THE ASSOCIATION
Who are we?
We are active inhabitants of the Alps who cannot stand by and watch alpine pastures and mountain meadows run wild and fall into disrepair forever. That is why we have joined forces and founded the "School of the Alpine Pasture in Valsertal" association.
What is our motto?
Alpine pastures and mountain meadows have been created for centuries by our ancestors with great effort. They must not be allowed to decay forever in just a few years for reasons of "cost", convenience and ignorance. We want to preserve the ancient cultural heritage of our ancestors: the mountain meadows and pastures.
How do we want to preserve alpine pastures and mountain meadows in the Vals Valley?
It is about the cultural heritage of a small but wonderful mountain valley in the North Tyrolean Wipptal. We want to motivate and inspire nature-loving people to actively participate as volunteers in the coming years in the preservation of this unique heritage "Alm und Bergmahd" in the Tyrolean Valsertal. The School of the Alpine Pasture is the platform for this initiative.

As the Schule der Alm association does not accept any subsidies or sponsorship, we are dependent on membership fees, donations, sponsors and patrons.
