THE COURSES

The courses at the Schule der Alm in Wipptal offer the perfect combination of a vacation in unspoilt nature and meaningful physical activity. Our guests also make an important contribution to preserving the cultural landscape of alpine pastures and mountain meadows in Tyrol. Helgas Alm" in the mountaineering village of Valsertal is at the center of the School of the Alpine Pasture. Those who take part in the basic courses experience how happy and satisfied it is to have created something with your own hands and how wonderful it feels to make a valuable contribution to the preservation of this cultural landscape as part of a team.

Our special courses, such as the herbal coursesthe schnapps course, Alpine air and the scent of goats and the volunteer project alpine pasture and mountain meadow care provide valuable knowledge and many interesting insights into the craft of life on the alpine pastures and in the mountains.
Here you can immerse yourself in the world of mountain farmers and learn the most important work on the alpine pasture - all of this up close and personal at the School of the Alpine Pasture in Vals.
During the 2-day practical course The fascination of the mountain forest forest expert Siegi covers a wide range of topics relating to mountain forests and their fascinating habitats.
