TRINS

Trins is located in the front Gschnitztal valley and is probably the sunniest municipality in the entire Wipptal valley. The cozy village with its small family-run hotels and many private room rentals is an ideal starting point for hikes, mountain tours or mountain bike tours on vacation. Together with Gschnitz, Trins has been part of the Alpine Club's elite circle of mountaineering villages as "Gschnitztal" since May 2019.

In the beautiful natural landscape around the mountaineering village of Trins in Tyrol, there are numerous hiking options for the whole family, such as to the Sarnthein waterfall or the "Adlerblick" viewing platform above Trins. Trins' local mountain, the "Blaser ", is ideal for summiteers of all ages. It is known far beyond the borders as the mountain with the most flowers in Tyrol. A total of 20 different orchid species can be discovered on a hike. Edelweiss, gentian and primroses are on top of that.
If you prefer to admire the mountain scenery from the valley floor of the Gschnitztal, there are many easy hikes close to the valley on the Trinser Sonnenweg trails. These invite you to take beautiful walks in all seasons.

In the winter months, Trins is transformed into a winter wonderland where cross-country skiing (skating & classic) and winter hiking are the main activities . THE Wipptal Valley family meeting point par excellence is the Trins ski lift. Children can learn and practise skiing here with an ideal slope gradient. Once the little ones have had enough of the slopes, the whole family can enjoy a playground right next to the lift, including a slide hill and ice skating rink. Simply ideal for a relaxing family vacation in winter.

The Blumenberg Blaser

A hike to the Blaser in early summer in particular makes every botanist's heart beat faster - numerous orchid species and, above all, the diversity of alpine flowers make it the "most flowery mountain in Tyrol"
