WIPPTALER MOUNTAIN BREAKFAST

At the Wipptal Mountain Breakfast, regional products - especially from the Wipptal Valley - are served at your accommodation's breakfast table. Because enjoyment at the breakfast table is not only defined by taste - the origin of the products also plays a decisive role.

What is the Wipptaler BergFrühstück?
More and more people are attaching importance to high-quality regional products that have not been transported thousands of kilometers and are not mass-produced. We try to provide the products of our producers and farmers directly to our accommodation and thus to our guests. These products do not always have to be organic, but the eggs, for example, come from happy free-range hens.

What's on the table?
Breakfast is often served as a buffet - the individual regional products are then labeled with their origin. In smaller establishments, breakfast is served at the table and your host will inform you about the products. For us, "regional" means products from natural production from the Wipptal and neighboring Tyrolean regions.

These products are a MUST:

• Fresh bread from a regional baker or even farmhouse bread
• Sausage or bacon from the local butcher or a farmer
• Dairy products (butter, milk, yogurt) directly from our farmers or from Tyrol/South Tyrol
• Farm eggs from free-range farming or even from your own barn
• Honey from local beekeepers
• at least 2 types of herbal tea from the region
• Seasonal vegetables or fruit
• no products individually wrapped in plastic (e.g. butter, jam,...)

Some of our partner accommodations even offer homemade products such as jam or spreads.
