Katrin Leitner - Steckholzerhof

"We just want our goats to have a good time!"

Around 50 goats and "Kitzln" keep Katrin Leitner and her family on their toes at the Steckholzerhof farm in Schmirn. Everyone helps out and does their bit to ensure that the farm runs smoothly and that the animals want for nothing. This has always been Katrin's motivation: "The goats should simply have a good time with us - the time the animals have should also be a good time for them!" The best hay, plenty of space, a straw bed and as much milk as they want for the "Kitzln". You can taste this in the product at the end of the cycle. Katrin produces a wide variety of goat's milk products such as curd cheese, yogurt and cream cheese balls by hand on the farm. Connoisseurs swear by the tender goat's kid meat and the various kid meat products directly from Schmirn.
