ALPINE FALL IN WIPPTAL
Fall is on its way; the mountains seem incredibly close and stand out against the clear, blue sky, their peaks sometimes already dusted with a light dusting of snow. The alpine pastures in the Wipptal and its five rustic mountain valleys offer wonderful hiking opportunities, as well as many culinary and musical highlights.
You can experience the Alpine autumn with a variety of themed Alpine autumn packages. For sports enthusiasts, we recommend our climbing package on the sunny Stafflacher Wand as well as the numerous mountain bike trails. Foranyoneinterested in learning about the management of a goat alpine pasture, the program “Alpine Air and the Scent of Goats” as part of the Alpine School offers a wonderful getaway at a rustic alpine pasture. The “Herbal Scents Meet the Mountaineering Village” program invites you to linger, unwind, and recharge. Events such as the Culinaria or the choir gathering “Wenn i durchgea durchs Tal”make autumn on the alpa special experience, both culinarily and musically. Otherwise, there’s really only one thing to do in the fall: enjoy the crisp mountain air and climb peaks and visiting alpine pastures and mountain huts .
